Designing for the Future,

One project at a Time

Enara Bali blends thoughtful design, eco conscious materials, and local craftsmanship to create interiors that honour Bali’s natural beauty.

At Enara Bali, we believe that beautiful interiors should be built to last, and built responsibly.

From the materials we source to the partners we work with, sustainability is at the heart of our design philosophy. Whether you’re building a modern villa or updating an existing property, we’re here to help you make choices that are better for your home, and for Bali.

Sustainability at Enara Bali — Built to Last, Designed for the Future.

Our Sustainable Practices

At Enara Bali, sustainability isn’t just about materials, it’s about the choices we make at every stage of design, production, and installation. We’re committed to reducing our environmental footprint and supporting Bali’s natural beauty through thoughtful, eco-conscious decisions. Here’s how we do it:

1. Responsible Sourcing

We carefully select materials from suppliers who share our commitment to sustainable forestry, reduced carbon footprints, and ethical production processes.

2. Durable, Long Lasting Design

By designing kitchens that stand the test of time, both in quality and style, we reduce the need for frequent replacements and minimise long term waste.

3. Minimising Waste

From precise manufacturing to efficient installation, we work to minimise material waste at every step. Any offcuts are reused or responsibly recycled wherever possible.

4. Local Craftsmanship

We collaborate with local artisans and tradespeople, reducing the carbon footprint associated with imported materials and supporting Bali’s economy.

5. Healthier Homes

We prioritise materials with low emissions, ensuring your kitchen is safe for your family and contributes to better indoor air quality.

6. Smart Packaging & Delivery

Whenever possible, we use recyclable packaging and optimise deliveries to reduce unnecessary trips and emissions.

7. Reducing Steel Reinforced Concrete Usage

At Enara Bali, we recognise the environmental impact of construction materials, particularly concrete. The production of cement, the key ingredient in concrete, is responsible for approximately 8% of global CO₂ emissions, largely due to the energy intensive processes involved.

To mitigate this, we are committed to reducing the use of concrete in our projects by adopting alternative construction methods that are both sustainable and resilient. One such approach is the implementation of steel reinforced timber frames, utilising responsibly sourced and reclaimed timber. This method not only lowers the carbon footprint but also ensures structural integrity in earthquake prone regions like Bali.

While steel production is also associated with CO₂ emissions, proportionally, we use far less steel in our hybrid timber structures than would be required in a conventional steel reinforced concrete build. This significantly reduces the overall carbon footprint, while still providing the necessary structural strength.

By steering our construction practices towards traditional Javanese and Balinese techniques, Enara Bali aims to harmonise luxury design with environmental responsibility, preserving the island's natural beauty for future generations.
